Welcome to The Crystal Collector! ????????

Today, we’re at Crystal Vista in Mount Ida, Arkansas, an incredible quartz crystal location that’s 100% free to the public! ???? Join us as we hike nearly a mile up the mountain to explore this newly expanded digging area, where rockhounds can search for stunning quartz formations right on the surface or dig into ancient veins filled with crystal pockets.

Along the way, we meet fellow crystal hunters, including Zach and Angela from Naturally Stoned, who show us their custom-made digging tools designed to carefully extract crystals without damage. Once we reach the top, we dive into the geology of this site—learning how 300-million-year-old hydrothermal veins pushed through the rock, creating stunning hexagonal quartz formations over time.

As we start digging, we uncover some amazing clusters, druzy-covered pieces, and even a rare bent crystal! ???? And after a recent rain, the hillside is loaded with surface finds—just waiting to be picked up! We even come across quartz with shale inclusions, a rare and unique feature this location is known for.

Plus, in an exclusive giveaway, we’ll be gifting an entire pocket of crystals to members of the Crystal Clubhouse! Want a chance to win? Be sure to join and stay tuned for more incredible digs.
