Heavy rain has recently hit southern China, with Sichuan being the hardest hit area. Rainfall in three areas of Chengdu ranked among the top three in the country on the morning of June 29, and the cumulative rainfall in one area broke the record.

Many places in Chengdu were flooded, including the Tianfu Sanjie subway station, which leaked like a waterfall. Local residents said that the water on the streets was like a small river, and they were worried about the danger of leaks.
