The Ma'anshan Meteorological Observatory issued an orange rainstorm warning signal at 9:04 am on September 27. Due to the heavy rain, some roads in Ma'anshan were severely flooded, causing shop facades and signboards to collapse.

Many vehicles passing through some roads had to slow down due to the high water levels. Some footage also showed vehicles stuck and unable to move through the flood.
