Watch FH Paschen's complete construction of Damen Station, a rapid transit station on the Chicago "L"'s Green Line. For over a year, EarthCam documented the project, which fills a 1.5-mile service gap between Ashland and California stops, restoring rail service to the neighborhood for the first time since the original station was closed at the location in 1948. Designed by the architectural firm Perkins&Will, the $80-million station features a double-height main entrance, an artistic mural, and an elevated bridge. EarthCam captured tens of thousands of images to create this 4K time-lapse.
