The weather has worsened again in northern Italy since Saturday afternoon resulting in Hail and thunderstorms, which occurred locally but also with strong intensity. some of the worst affected areas were milan and turin.

In several video recordings circulating on social media, it appears that the hail was falling with quite heavy intensity. The yard of the affected house turned white and hail measuring 5 inches is expected to fall in the next few days.

Apart from Milan and Turin, several places affected are Piedmont, Lombardy, Triveneto, extending between the afternoon and evening also to Liguria, Emilia and Tuscany. Late in the evening, a powerful storm hit the city of Turin, forcing authorities to temporarily close Turin Caselle airport.
