A number of cities in China's Henan province again experienced unprecedented flooding as the city received almost a year's worth of rain in just 24 hours.

Starting early this morning, heavy rainstorms have concentrated on Tanghe, Biyang, southern Sheqi and northern Tongbai.

In response to the bad weather, the Henan provincial government implemented the strictest flood control measures in Nanyang from Wednesday evening to Thursday morning.
