Man Builds a Hidden UNDERGROUND CABIN Deep in the Forest | Start to Finish by @lesnoy

Deep in the Ukrainian forest, where towering pines swallow sound and sunlight filters like old gold, a Misha, the creator behind Lesnoy, decides to build a home the ancient way: underground, by hand, and using nothing but raw nature.

What begins as a simple hole in the earth grows into a fully functional dugout cabin, complete with a handcrafted stone stove, clay-bonded walls, moss insulation, wooden pivot-hinged doors, custom windows, and even an outdoor barbecue set made from river stones.

When the roof requires waterproofing, he layers soil and turf in a way that mimics ancient load-distribution methods. Even the stove becomes a structural element, its stone weight stabilizing the interior geometry of the dugout.

Every detail, from the debarked logs to the slate table and woven fences, is created with techniques that go back centuries.

And what’s more, between clay layers, he will be cooking some serious treats.
