Strong cold air is blowing in and snow is falling intermittently in Niigata Prefecture on the 24th. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) said Monday more snowfall is expected in Niigata, Ishikawa and Nagano prefectures, as well as in some western regions including Hiroshima and Shimane prefectures. The ski resort in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, reported a snow depth of 450 to 500 cm today.
