The bad weather that has hit Saudi Arabia in recent days has resulted in flooding in several areas of Saudi Arabia. A video on social media shows flash floods in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on March 20. In the social media account, many roads are seen submerged in floodwaters. Not only that, many cars slowed down their vehicles when the flash flood hit the city.

The video footage shows how the flood submerged several roads in the city center. As quoted from the Middle East Eye website, according to the Saudi Arabian National Meteorological Center, rainfall in the southern region of Jeddah between 08:00 and 14:00 on Thursday local time reached 179 millimeters, the "highest" rainfall ever recorded.
