Severe weather and flash floods hit Al-Bahah City, Saudi Arabia on Sunday. Almost all city streets were submerged in water and a number of public facilities were stopped due to the flood.

The rainfall that caused the flood was 179 mm. This figure is a new record, surpassing the rain that caused the floods in November 2009.

Previously, the National Meteorological Center had also issued a weather warning in the Al Bahah region stating that heavy rain would continue to fall in the region until 4 am.
