Affected by the southwest wind, Tainan City was hit by heavy rain this morning August 2. The Central Weather Administration issued a real-time message for heavy thunderstorms. Flooding disasters were reported in many places, and cars were trapped in the water and about to be destroyed.

More than 15 administrative districts, including Anping, Annan, Yongkang, Zhongxi, Guanmiao, Rende, Shanshang, Shanhua, and Guantian, have entered flood warning areas. Heavy rain continued in Yongkang District, Tainan, narrowing the roads. Passing by was like sailing on water. The floodwaters even flooded into nearby shops.
