Floods rage in Barangay Burbuli in Baco, Oriental Mindoro. Many barangays in Baco, Naujan, Pola, and Calapan City are being flooded due to overflowing rivers due to several days of heavy rains caused by shear lines.

Out of the total 27 barangays, 15 of them are currently affected by flooding in Baco town, according to MDRRMO Officer-In-Charge Xryn Mortel. The level, he said, is 2-3 ft. in some areas here.

The town of Baco, Oriental Mindoro has been placed under a state of calamity following severe flooding caused by heavy rains caused by a shear line.
