Typhoon Kristine destroyed homes and displaced residents in Bicol before it was expected to make landfall, on Wednesday. Floodwaters swept away several homes in Libon, Albay and a sinkhole was seen on a road in Daet, Camarines Norte amid heavy rains.

A state of emergency was declared in Albay due to Typhoon Kristine. Heavy traffic was reported in the towns of Oas and Polangui due to flooding.
