Flash floods struck Muhayil Asir province due to heavy rain Thursday night. Video footage circulating showed the floodwaters sweeping away dozens of vehicles parked on the side of the road in a neighborhood near homes, and hitting several shops and houses.

The water level also rose significantly, leaving cars submerged and inundated by the devastating floodwaters. Muhayil Asir province and its affiliated centers experienced heavy rains, resulting in flash floods in several locations.
