Heavy rain fell in Tokyo and Saitama prefectures as warm air flowed into the sky. Heavy rain of 107 mm per hour occurred in Honmachi, Asaka City, Saitama Prefecture, 101 mm in Honmachi, Kawaguchi City, and about 100 mm near Wako City.

According to the prefecture and other sources, houses were found submerged in floodwaters above ground level in Niiza City, and roads were submerged in Asaka, Wako, Warabi and other cities.
