Severe flooding has struck the southwestern Chinese provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guizhou after heavy monsoon rains and remnants of Typhoon Danas. Water levels in 25 rivers have exceeded safety limits, prompting emergency warnings. More than 10,000 residents have been urgently evacuated from high-risk areas. Several rivers, including the Wujiang and Minjiang, are at risk of overflowing. Infrastructure has been damaged, with road closures and train service disruptions reported. Authorities continue round-the-clock monitoring and emergency response efforts to manage the crisis.
