Parts of the regions of: Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Tabuk, Hail, Al-Qassim, and Riyadh witnessed moderate to heavy thunderstorms, which led to torrential rains, hail, and were accompanied by cold showers and active winds stirring up dirt and dust.

The rain in Al-Baha led to rocks falling on a number of main roads, with electricity cut off due to lightning strikes. While the falling winds caused dust storms, and some shop signs were blown away, causing damage to private property.

The official spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, explained that this oppressive cyclone was of medium speed and formed as a result of the weather condition affecting the region.
