Most parts of Qatar received heavy rainfall last night, while some areas of the country also reported hailstorm and according to Meteorology Department thundery rain is expected to continue till tomorrow. The city witnessed a rare change in weather with thunderstorms and hail.

On social media, many people were seen sharing pictures and videos of hail fall in Doha last night. One video taken on the streets of Doha, shows hail falling in large quantities and hitting the bodies of cars. A Twitter user in the Gulf state shared a photo of an enormous pile of hailstones which reportedly crashed to earth on Monday.
