Now Oregon, USA is in chaos! Strong storm brings hail and tornadoes to Portland

The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings for several areas in Oregon on Monday as heavy rain and wind brought down trees and caused power outages throughout the region. The last tornado warning for the Silverton, Molalla and Mount Angel areas expired at 7:45 p.m.

Tens of thousands of people are reported to be without power in the Portland metro Monday evening. With wind gusts expected to reach 50 mph in the Willamette Valley and up to 70 mph along the Oregon Coast Monday evening. Several people reported significant hail, including in the Oregon town of Silverton.
