Now Canada is paralyzed! Snowstorm leaves Ontario and Quebec completely under snow

A winter storm continued to strengthen across parts of Ontario and Quebec on Sunday morning as heavy snowfall was forecast to continue blanketing the region. Similar conditions are expected in southeastern Ontario, with an additional 20 to 30 centimetres of snow expected in the Ottawa area. In Quebec, snow began falling Saturday night and began to pick up more heavily Sunday morning.

Montreal and Quebec City are expected to receive 25 to 40 cm of snow on Sunday while areas east of those cities are expected to receive 30 to 50 cm. Meanwhile, the Central Region OPP is asking residents to take emergency diversion routes in Northumberland County, east of Toronto, as road conditions worsen.
