Now the Philippines is in ruins! Super Typhoon Pepito blows roofs off houses in Aurora

Super typhoon Pepito made its second landfall at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in Dipaculao, Aurora Province in Luzon. Pepito first made landfall near Pangasinan and Catanduanes, unfortunately at 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Significant damage will occur as the tropical storm passes land in Luzon on Sunday. Further damage will also occur as Pepito moves through the West Philippine Sea due to an east-southeast wind surge, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Service (Pagasa) weather bulletin said in a statement.
