Now tsunami in Philippines! Super Typhoon Pepito creates monster waves in Catanduanes

Cyclone Pepito has the potential to reach super typhoon status with its rapid strengthening over the country’s east coast. Pepito (international name Man-Yi) was last observed 465 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, moving west-northwest at 30 kilometers per hour.

The typhoon is expected to hit Catanduanes tonight or tomorrow morning, November 17, and cross Luzon before exiting the West Philippine Sea. Before hitting Catanduanes, this morning Typhoon Pepito created high waves in Virac City.
