Philippines is under water today! Severe flooding reaches rooftops in Cadiz City

Hundreds of people fled their homes Sunday night and Monday morning after flash floods hit three areas in northern Negros Occidental, following heavy rains caused by a shear line affecting the Visayas.

In Cadiz City, 1,730 people or 430 families in five villages were displaced, data from the city government showed Monday. These include those from Barangay Burgos, Barangay Daga, Barangay Mabini, Barangay Andres Bonifacio, Barangay Luna.

Floods also continued to rise in parts of Catarman in Northern Samar on Monday due to incessant rains caused by tropical depression shear line and the Romina trough.
