Today Philippines Sinks 3 Meters! Severe flooding submerges property in Palawan

Several districts in Puerto Princesa City and other southern cities in Palawan were flooded on Sunday due to two days of heavy rains caused by the intertropical convergence zone, a shear line, and a low pressure system. Residents of the districts of San Miguel, San Pedro, San Manuel, San Jose, Tagburos, Sta. Lourdes, Tiniguiban, Sicsican, Irawan, Iwahig, and Bancao-Bancao were stranded as they reported flooding.

While most areas have experienced flooding in the past, some residents said this was their first time submerged in knee-to-waist-deep water, with the worst being 3 meters high.
