The Toulouse region was covered in a white veil on Monday, May 19, at least for a few minutes. Although the weather was quite pleasant in the north of France, the skies were much cloudier in the southwest to the center-west of the country.

Also in Haute-Garonne, the inhabitants of Roques were shocked by the speed and intensity of the rain, which caused several streets to be flooded. "We saw this black storm coming towards us, with heavy rain and a lot of water in a very short time. In 20 minutes, we had a big flood and the sewers were overflowing," said Fabien, a local resident who witnessed the storm.
