Vietnam's Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh provinces are currently experiencing strong winds from Typhoon Kajiki, as residents rush to complete last-minute preparations before the typhoon makes landfall on Monday afternoon. Typhoon Kajiki is bringing increasingly strong winds to the coastal area of Cua Lo in Nghe An Province.

Typhoon Kajiki, bringing strong winds and heavy rain, hit South China's Hainan province and parts of Guangdong province on Sunday, as it passed through open waters south of Hainan and headed towards Vietnam's central coast. Authorities in Vietnam plan to evacuate more than 586,000 people from the central provinces.
