Video on social media showed streets in the capital Hanoi were severely flooded as heavy rains fell on Tuesday morning.

In Tay Mo Ward, the section passing through Road 70 was isolated on both sides due to water about 1 m deep, many people walked across and their motorbikes still stalled. According to records, some houses in lane 42 Giang Van Minh street were heavily flooded, water flooded into their houses.
