Due to the impact of Typhoon Bualoi (Typhoon No. 10), heavy rains continued. Since the morning of September 29, the water level in the Hieu River has risen, causing 55 homes to be inundated with floodwaters ranging from 0.8 to 1 meter, with some houses flooded up to their roofs. Quy Chau residents were forced to evacuate 100 households to safety.

The commune has evacuated residents in landslide-prone areas, ensuring the complete safety of residents and property. "At the same time, we are closely monitoring weather developments and preparing four emergency response plans on site," said the Commander of the Military Command. In Quy Hop subdistrict, heavy rains caused more than 180 homes to be flooded, nearly 100 of which were submerged by 2.5 to 3 meters of water.
