This evening in Taichung there were strong winds and heavy rain like a typhoon, which severely affected driving visibility. There was hail in Guguan and Lishan areas, and the hail was large and plentiful. Many people who were hiding from the hail in their cars said it was very scary.

Taichung City, including the Lishan, Guguan, Dajia, Daya and other areas, suddenly experienced hail at around 4 or 5 this afternoon. Many people took photos of the rare sight, and some even said it was the first time they had seen hail in more than 20 years.
