South Africa is bombarded! snowstorm engulfs roads and cars in eastern cape

The South African Weather Service (Saws) has warned that very cold, wet and windy conditions will continue across South Africa this week and snow is reported in some areas.

Saws said snow will fall in parts of the Free State, North West, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Western Cape.

The Eastern Cape transport department (EC) on Monday warned road users to exercise extreme caution when crossing mountain passes in the province, as snowfall continues to affect road conditions.
