South Africa has been hit by severe weather in recent days. As a result, several areas experienced very heavy rains that caused flooding. This flooding occurred with varying levels and affected many areas such as Hammanskraal, Centurion, Pretoria, Tshwane in Gauteng Province, Amanzimtoti and Durban in Kwazulu Natal Province, and Middelburg in Mpumalanga Province.

The City of Tshwane has imposed road closures on Wednesday due to heavy rains and ongoing flooding in the area. Road users are advised to avoid driving on low-lying water bridges during heavy rains and storms and to take precautions when driving in places that may be affected by heavy rains.
