South Africa is now underwater! Many Floating Vehicles in Klerksdorp

Many roads remain inaccessible in the North West province due to heavy rains. The Provincial Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure comprising various government departments and security forces, led by the South African Police Service (SAPS) said it would like to warn the public and motorists to exercise caution.

A spokesperson for the North West police, said the rains in recent days have caused flooding of low-lying bridges, dams and rivers. Mokgwabone said further that major roads in the area have been flooded in some areas such as the N12, near Stilfontein and Klerksdorp, the R503 at Hartbeesfontein, the N14 between Sannieshof and Delareyville.
